Released new high resolution audio converter and optimizer AuI ConverteR 48x44 v. 5.5 CD ripper, ISO, DFF, DSF, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC. Re-worked CD ripper under Mac OS X.
New CD ripper under Mac OS X work at low level with access to raw audio data stream and error flags stream. It allow manage native direct safe error control that built in CD format.
AuI ConverteR apply own method of complex control unstability of reading including error flag stream. The stream allow control error place with precision to byte in raw stream.
Under Windows ripping utility, that used by AuI ConverteR, made safe CD ripping, but use other method and don't show detected errors at AuI's graphical user interface. Now performs researches of ability to release same (to Mac OS X's) ripping method under Windows.
If AuI ConverteR found error in file, then try recover the error. But success of recovering is not guaranted. If recovering was fault the error marked as fatal. If recovering is successful, error marked as "probably recovered".
Each file with error displayed in Error table on Log tab of AuI's main window.
At bottom of Log tab of AuI's main window placed coloured Total Error indicator led:
RED - there are ripped tracks with fatal errors
AMBER - there are ripped tracks with errors that recovered without guarantee
Right the Total Error indicator led placed Total Pre-emphasis led.
Pre-emphasis is special amplitude-frequency pre-distortion that used for some CDs.
Remark: Exists CD with lost pre-emphasis indicator.
Now AuI ConverteR able copy files (with subdirectories) that placed in directory with source files: artworks, descriptions, etc.
In Settings window > Metadata tab appear input field with Copy additional files switch.
You can add custom file filter with ;(semicolon) separator.
Released more safe decoding CUE for splitting big files (FLAC, WAV, APE, etc.).
