What is DSD 1024?
DSD1024 (fs x 1024, 45.2 MHz) is sampling rate of Direct Stream Digital format. The format was popular since SACD.
In the world of high-resolution audio, the quest for exceptional sound quality is never-ending.
As technology advances, new formats emerge that push the boundaries of what is possible.
Some audio enthusiasts look for super wide band for sound reproduction. Practically DSD 1024 has specific noise "hump" beyond 100 kHz band. It means the fixed issue even for these music lovers.
However, immense sample rate is not guarantee higher audio quality. Only software and hardware implementation is matter.
What is the highest sampling rate for DSD?
At the time of writing, DSD 1024 is the highest sampling rate of the Direct Stream Digital format. Bitrate is 90 Mbit/s for stereo.

How to play DSD 1024
You can listen to native DSD1024 on Digital Audio Players (DAP) or smartphones with playback programs.
Some conventional audio player software and devices may not natively play DSD1024. However, dedicated hi-res players and digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with DSD1024 capabilities can handle this format with ease. Read where to download DSD playback software here...
