If you have many CDs, you can listen it at modern DSD DACs. Higher resolution don't improve sound quality of the recording. But you can compare playback quality of original CD and upsampled audio file.

How to convert CD audio to DSD files

To convert CD-audio to DSD (DSF, DFF) files:

  1. Start AuI ConverteR software.


     
  2. Push Open dir button and select source CD.
    Alternatively, you can use Open files button and select individual tracks from the compact disk.
  3. In the left bottom of the program's main window, select target directory. Read more...
  4. In the right middle of the program main window, select .dsf or .dff format and desirable sampling rate (DSD64, DSD128, etc.).
  5. Push Start button and wait for the end of CD to DSD file conversion.
    Converted files are placed in the target directory.
