Parallel Procesing [AuI ConverteR 48x44]

Share

Parallel processing is simultaneous conversion of several audio files (in batch processing): 1 file per 1 CPU core.

Parallel audio conversion of several files

Exceptions

  • In CD ripping its audio tracks are processed sequentially. Because simultaneous reading of several tracks from CD-audio can cause slower speed of the reading.
  • In Modula-R edition parallel processing is supported via "Parallel processing (add-on)" module.
  • In true gapless mode, files should be processed sequentially only.

Settings

If parallel processing functionality is available, user can limit used core number to release part of computing power for other applications.

In Settings > General > "Used CPU-cores count" select CPU-core number, that used for audio conversion (number of simultaneously processed files).
